My 'IN' to yoga opened up 32 years ago, when I began to awaken to self-healing and inner connection. I was introduced to Hatha Yoga and meditation during an extended stay at Muktananda's (Gurumayi's) ashram in the sacred Tansa Valley, in Maharashtra, India in my 20's... and touched on it over the years through my continuing yoga practice. Something changed in me when I took the time to breathe deeper into my being through a daily practice. I was able to begin releasing old wounds, and feel renewed on a daily basis. I was able to move through my day feeling more balanced and grounded.
Currently I am co-owner/studio manager and teaching yoga classes at Studio Nine in Camrose, AB
These classes are great for anyone wanting to explore and move their bodies. In these current times we can hold a lot of stress in our system, and through the practice of yoga, those areas of stress are able to release. This creates more space in the body and mind for ease, calmness and well-being.
Private sessions provide you with a safe container of undivided attention and exquisite care. Allow me to guide you through a one hour solo practice of either hatha, kundalini or yin yoga (the choice is yours!) These private sessions can be crafted to suit your needs and your level.
These classes are wonderful for seniors, or anyone who feels limited in flexibility. There is the assurance of being supported by the chair, and the poses are gentle & invigorating. You are encouraged to listen to your body and move according to where you're at on a physical level, slowly evolving over time.

Gentle Yoga Community Classes
Gentle yoga is slower moving, yet refreshing! We will be mindfully connecting with the breath, and gently building more strength and flexibility in the body. These classes are a mix of hatha & vinyasa yoga.

Practicing and teaching prāṇāyāma (breathing techniques) has become a very important aspect of my offerings. Utilizing the breath creates a sense of calm and balance when necessary, and also ignites an inner fire, moving prāṇa or energy throughout the different centers of the body. Through my own daily practice, I discover over and over the true meaning of honouring my body, and it becomes complete with the nourishment of healthy food! Nutrition goes hand-in-hand with Yoga (I also graduated as a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2011).
